ANANCY FESTIVAL AND CARIBBEAN SPELLING BEE IN CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL CARIBBEAN AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH
Adults and children are invited to celebrate National Caribbean American Heritage Month with Anancy stories from Jamaica’s Connie Witter and other local storytellers. Students up to the eighth grade will also compete for prizes in a Caribbean culture Spelling Bee beginning at 12:30 pm. End the afternoon by enjoying the film ‘Chrissy’ from Barbados.
